First of all I blame my cousin Edie for this, shes a huge blogger and has forced me into this. www.lifeingrace@blogspot.com. Edie started the original jamieknoxville blog, but this time it's all me and she is in no way responsible for content.
I was born and raised in East Tennessee. I am not proud to admit to this but, I live in Southern New Jersey. I'm a Southerner, end of story!
I come from a colorful family and have enough stories to keep this thing going for years to come. I have long felt a calling to write about my life and family. Being that I live in NJ, I usually get my information regarding important happenings by making a phone call to my Mom. Recently she nearly choked to death on a pork rind. Settle down, it was dislodged by her Husband. He used the old school method of beating her repeatedly on the back. (highly not recommended). Eating pork rinds or hitting someone in the back who is choking.
Speaking of pork rinds, if that's all I had to snack on; "I'd just as soon go on". Translation=rather be dead. This phrase was uttered more than once by my Mother, as her husband layed in his hospital bed
recovering from a stroke. Example: "If I had to lay there in at ol bed, I'd just as soon go on". Yes he was within earshot. Thanks to my Moms positive encouragement, he has recovered.
